Unforeseen consequences

Well, there is now something to be proud of in this year, and just like the first post of the blog, it is something unexpected. Yes, it was the second test of the year, a Chinese test. It was like any usual graded comprehension, except it requires more in-depth analysis and more time-consuming. Just nearing the end of the test, I realized I still had a really LONG question left, worth 6 marks of 40. I had no choice but to rush through it... The next week during Chinese lesson, I prepared for the dreadful period of the release of results, expecting my test paper to be horribly vandalized with red markings. Surprisingly, I scored 34/40, which is 85%. Eventually, this helps me mend my disappointment of my recent Maths test.

Another unexpected thing happened recently, regarding my classmate Graham's absence these few days. We soon discovered that it was due to the death of his grandfather, many know him as the richest man in Singapore. The class felt really sorry for his family and decided to write him a card, hoping to help him pass through this harsh period of reality easier.
